Why the Commercial B16 system
The Commercial B16 system is what we would consider a Commercial size system, due to it production out put.
This build is 2 x 5,000 ltr, 4 x 20,000 ltr and 4 x 40,000 ltr and 16 x 25m long grow beds (= 400sq/m growing area) all housed inside a 30m width x 45m Length green house.
We have kept this system compact due to most Asian land owners only have small land lots but this configuration can change to
15m wide 70m long green house still with the same system with but the grow beds will change to 8 x 50m grow beds (=400 sq/m).
Please Note: That our system build is based on 2 operating principals:
a) Fish Capacity (Please read) for the system is determined by our Bio-Filter which is our grow beds (Please Read).
b) The fish tank sizes and base on maximising fish rotation (Fish in / Fish out)

This system has the Capacity to produce 54,000 Kg of Fish and 20,000 Kg of Lettuce in 12 months

IMPORTANT NOTE: Commercial Aquaponics profitability is base on the size of the system and its capacity to produce at its maximum.
As always the calculation used on this spreadsheet is base on growing Tilapia as the fish and lettuce for vegetable production and the rotation is based on our knowledge and experience and will differ from species and vegetable used in your system.
Using the Spreadsheet
You will see on line 12 and 13 to the top left, 2 boxes with “Predicted Sales Prices” as the heading, you can change this to suit your market place for the price per 1Kg of fish (Tilapia) and 1 Kg of lettuce (cos).
