Welcome to
My Blog

Welcome to
My name is Mark Borinelli and I am the founder of “Together We Can Grow”, I am an Australian Aboriginal man from the Yued people in South Western Australia. I have a real passion for wanting to support people to improve their living conditions, Health, and Mental Well being. Unfornaurely, I truly believe that the only way to help this change is with MONEY.
Let me make one thing very clear about my statement about MONEY; Donations and charity via money are not what I mean, I am talking about Social Enterprise projects that when done right will create an ongoing, self-determination, and self-income for those who get involved.
The problem was to find a vehicle that could be used to really make a difference, by empowering people to become self-reliant via creating an income source.
Any Social Enterprise model/vehicle, I believe needs to follow four golden rules;
What I found was that I could apply those golden rules to Large Scale Aquaponics farming (food production), so this was the vehicle of choice for me and for Together We Can Grow.
Let’s say that the journey of over 9 years, from then till now was extremely educational as I have killed a lot of fish and vegetables during this period and had some projects completely fail, but while doing so, I learned a lot about Aquaponics and the Do and Don’ts.
Why This BLOG?
This blog is about sharing my experience in making Large Scale Aquaponics farming profitable, but these principles can also be used in backyard systems, without profit.
The reason for my blogs is post information that I personally think is important for you to know about Aquaponics and special if you want to go to a Commercial system.
There is so much information out there and worst of all, the studies/documents that have been done by all experts and scientist make Aquaponics, so confusing and I am hoping to make some sense of it by adding post the about a specific area of a Aquaponics system.
In no way I am saying that I am an expert nor a scientist or that my system builds are perfect and the only way, its about sharing information and making you question the subject matter and then doing your own research on these subjects.
So at this point can I say that what you read on my post and it is my option or experience that I share with you, so my hope is to open your mind to possibilities and alternatives?
HAPPY READING!
